I have loved creating visual stories as a painter and illustrator for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Michigan, I remember tracing comic book characters and creating my own paper dolls with elaborate wardrobes and accessories. I've since worked professionally as a graphic designer, technical illustrator, and watercolor artist. As my grandchildren came along I wanted to create something truly special for them. That was the beginning of my children's picture books. I so enjoy bringing authors' stories to life through illustration, creating personalized stories for my grandchildren, and sharing the painting techniques I've developed over the years.
