Self Contained: Volume 5 of the poetry of Jason Horsler (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798276782737)

The extraordinary poetry of Jason Horsler is at once fresh and yet classical in form. It is challenging, thought provoking, whimsical, witty, encouraging, inspiring and relevant. This fifth volume builds on the success of the previous four. Here is a sample:
INKLINGS
Did the herder, gazing high,
see stars behind stars and wonder
if there were even more up yonder
than could meet his earthbound eye
and, sighing, wish to then take flight -
the more the dark night sky to spite?

Or did the man with boat and line
draw stranger things up from the deeps
and ponder what else the water keeps
if such held glowing scale and spine
and, sighing, wish to sink beneath
to find more tentacles and teeth?

Inklings tempt to seek out the true.
Never pass by what fascinates you.
