Chaplain Curtis and Minister Nettie Pennington are ordained ministers, serving as Associate Pastor and Associate Minister, respectively, at Springfield MB Church. Both are active Sunday School and Bible Study Teachers. Chaplain Curtis' work as a Chaplain in the Jail Ministry and law enforcement spans 25 years. He is President of the Hospitality Ministry and Bible Study Ministry and serves in various other ministries in the church, including the Missionary Ministry. He is a twenty-three-year Army veteran. Minister Nettie is a biblical scholar with an Associate Degree in Christian Studies. She writes a column for Tate Record, focusing on weaving biblical guidance into everyday life. She has a BA in Management Studies. She is the Program Director for the church and serves in various other ministries, including Mother Board, Hospitality, and Missionary. Her military and public service career span 30 years.
