seven thousand in Israel (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781969314056)

"the LORD said... "Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed...'"

Although festive in color, autumn brings a frost-nipped death to this earth, and, for the follower of Christ, this current age tries to chill one's soul and passion for Jesus. seven thousand in Israel offers a poetic call for believers to endure as a faithful remnant.
Drawing from Old Testament passages with Jewish themes, the collection of lyrical poetry goes month by month through the birth, fullness, and end of autumn. It features heartfelt poems of holding fast amidst suffering and trials because the hope set before the Christian by their Messiah Jesus is so much greater.
These free verses and occasional rhymes determine to sing a war-cry of endurance as fall freezes the earth-even while rejoicing in the vibrancy-because our King fights beside each brother and sister through the cold months until the blossoming of victory.

for there is a God in Israel
-His Spirit, the sukkah of our soul-
Who is with us.
