Rick Pickens attended the Separate Baptist Church, Nazarene Church and Methodist Church as a child. At age 12, he left the church and became involved in the occult. He studied Martial Arts for many years, earning a black belt in Shaolin Style and eventually earned the rank of Master in the internal art known as Baguazhang. In 1992, Rick accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. He then joined the Assemblies of God where, after three years, he functioned as interim. Since that time, Rick has been an adult Sunday school teacher, board member, Sunday school superintendent and visitation pastor for the Assemblies of God. He also served as an associate pastor for the Church of God. Rick then served as adult Sunday school teacher and associate pastor at an independent gospel church. He recently functioned again as board member and interim pastor for the Assemblies of God. Rick further has traveled and ministered in churches in several states. He has 22 years of experience in the ministry, and is presently writing and ministering God's word whenever possible.
