How did this stone tool end up in a prehistoric campsite five hundred miles north of the prehistoric rock quarry where the rock was from? Who made this stone tool? What was this person like? What happened on the journey from the Panhandle of Texas to northern Colorado? Since it was impossible for the author to ask the Paleoindian these questions, John Bradford Branney wrote his own version of the rock and its maker's journey.
