Show Your Caring and They Will Learn (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798389881020)

Previously published as If You Care, They Will Learn: Creating the Classroom You Would Want for Your Own Children by Frank Chiki.

"Show Your Caring and They Will Learn," which can be read over a weekend and implemented on Monday, is about helping educators do what they do best, create safe learning environments for their students. Educators, families, and students want classrooms to be places in which students want to come back to everyday because they know they are loved and cared for in them.

Throughout you will find strategies, examples and ideas that will help you create that rewarding environment and get to what is expected of educators, to teach. As with any endeavor, or calling, in being with other humans, nothing is 100% as there are just too many variables. However, better is always something we want to move towards each and every day in the classroom-better at listening, better at delivering instruction, better at providing a safe classroom, better at creating a culture of caring.

This is a must read book for pre-service, new, or veteran teachers, or anyone serving students. No matter your experience level, there is sure to be a new strategy or two you will find helpful in showing your students how much you care about them.
