Anita Elam is a former Navy submarine tracker and an Information Technology Professional. Though her work has always been in the technical field, she has always loved poetry and being creative. She wrote her first poem at twelve years old and was hooked. Now that her two children are grown and on their own, she is back to her poetry writing and other writing ventures. Three titles "Reflections of a Poetrygirl" (Poetry) and "The Bugle Called You Home" (non-fiction), "Wistful Thinking" are now available, with more writing projects planned.
