Silent Refuge (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798182249881)

The war is over. The barriers are gone. And Nakarin Osneon has no idea what to do next.

He came home to Tibar expecting to feel something. Instead he feels the weight of everyone who didn't come back - and a pull in his chest pointing west toward something he can't name.

Eladra has been looking for something her whole life. Six villages. No answers. Until the pull brings her to Tibar - and to him.

What they find at the end of that pull is a valley where magic simply doesn't exist. Not suppressed. Not sealed. Just absent. A place that has been waiting, quietly, for longer than either of them has been alive.

But silence doesn't build itself. And the world Nakarin left behind isn't finished with him yet.
