The Mirror and the Prism is a historical adventure Christian fantasy series written for young adults and adults. The first book, Silhouette, takes place in 1918 during World War I in Devon, England. Gwendolyn Maham was shattered in 1916 when her eldest brother was killed in the titanic battle of the Somme. As a child, she had prophetic dreams, but after Freddie's death, she wanted nothing more to do with God and performed a dark rite in a futile attempt to change her brother's fate. Two years have passed. Now God has a job for fifteen-year-old Gwen and is calling her back into the relationship she renounced. She and her companions must decipher a cryptic vision, recover a lost weapon, and fight very real demons. The course of World War I is at stake.
