Bella DePaulo (PhD, Harvard) is the author of Singled Out: How Singles Are Stereotyped, Stigmatized, and Ignored, and Still Live Happily Ever After and of Single with Attitude: Not Your Typical Take on Health and Happiness, Love and Money, Marriage and Friendship. She has been a Visiting Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara since the summer of 2000.
