Sitting Not So Pretty (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798335939652)

Blood is said to be Thicker than Water, but, if it is not Family, what happens then? Adoptive daddies,
underground numero uno Brian Amberley-Duval and hatchet man Archibald (Archie) Amberley-Duval
have no idea what they are undertaking when adopting twins Louisa and Lawrence along with South
African born Phineas, and what follows with their Final Curtain - a derelict former cinema brought
back to life by its growing audience of unwilling skeletons.
Aided and abetted by the likes of Alfonso Hernández and colleague Thomas Mayhew, ticket sales
soar as old scores are settled, and vendettas vanquished. Enter The Jolly Dodger a houseboat
literally "in the pink - and Dickie Smuts, a reincarnated Artful Dodger - and let the show begin.
Adding to the colourful collection of bad guys and their molls, are armless but certainly not harmless
South African rumbustious stellar skellum Jengo Botha and Donder, aka Rhino, his loyal lumbering
sidekick. South Africa's answer to Bonnie and Clyde, young Umtali Gweru and Bobbi (Munster)
Miller. English grandee-cum-drug lord, Stamford Cripps. The sagacious Lady Louella Loveday and the
charming Monsieur Henri Coulon along with a series of strange happenings involving doctored
tennis balls, a pair of deceptive pugs, cement and concrete mixers and more.
Prepare to be riveted to your seats.
