JOHN P. CLARK, Professor of Sociology at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis, St. Paul, has lived in Japan as a Senior Fulbright Scholar and in China as a Professor of Sociology at Nankai University, Tianjin. A past President of the Midwest Sociological Society, he is currently Director of the University of Minnesota's Conflict and Change Center. DEAN G. ROJEK is an Associate Professor in the Sociology Department at the University of Georgia with special interests in juvenile delinquency and the sociology of law.
