This book is about the power of faith, love and hope to overcome difficult personal limitations. The most difficult years, earning his Commission as an Infantry Officer and surviving physical challenges like vertigo to earn his wings were supported by his wife, Lisa, who opened his mind and vision and gave him the determination not only to succeed but to do it within the demands of his faith. As an Aviation Advisor in the Korean Military Advisor Group, instructor pilot and Test pilot, and early unit commander he fought hard to succeed without compromise. He dealt with a seizure disorder that ended his ability to fly and limited his options for civilian employment. This a work of fiction but the struggles of living with limitations that have no visible manifestation are very personal to me. My hope is that readers will see that faith and love can overcome nearly impossible challenges.
