Wolf and Ghost meet on Halloween night. What starts as a fun relationship turns into an unhealthy one when Wolf's behavior changes, seemingly out of nowhere. This picture book serves as an introduction to the abuse cycle, whether it be from a domestic partner, friend, family member, or another relationship dynamic. Spoiler alert: if you're looking for Ghost to stay in the unhealthy, dangerous relationship, this is not the book for you, and I encourage you to bypass it. This book focuses on self-love, resilience, and personal strength. The topic can be very polarizing, as you may notice in some of the feedback provided.
