Nick McGuire put his niece Mariah and nephew Joshua on the school bus at 7:20 AM. When Nick topped the hill, he was shot with a 12-gauge pump shot gun at 41 yards away. He said: "Oh my God... Someone shot me!" Then I called 911 at 7:36 AM. Nick said: "Yes you shot me!" Nick wanted me to call his mom. Nick was still spiting up blood. Then I called our Pastor, Randy Hall. He told me to try to calm Nick down because the heart will pump out more blood being so nervous and panicky.

Michelle McGuire is thankful to God for sparing her husbands life. She asked God for a husband when she was eighteen years old and heard a voice tell her to "Wait." She waited for eighteen years. She is now thirty-nine. Michelle and Nick met through a Christian woman named Donna that she worked with. Her and Nick and his sister Brenda were praying for Nick to get a good Christian woman. They met on Memorial Day 2005. They were married three months later, August 20, 2005. They PRAISE GOD that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
