José Antonio Rosas is a documentary photographer who divides his time between his hometown Lima, Perú and New York. His photographic practice spans six continents and nearly two decades where he observes, experiences and captures moments of individuality and connection. Rosas has been photographing the solace of undisturbed nature as well as the shared joy of celebrations in different cultures. Between 2015 and 2016, Rosas studied in the Low-Residency Program at the International Center of Photography, followed by a One-Year Certificate Program in Creative Practices between 2018 and 2019, for which he moved to New York City. Rosas work has been published and exhibited internationally. He is a member of the artist group The Salon.
Jean Dykstra is a writer, photography critic, and former editor of Photograph magazine. She has contributed essays to many books, exhibition catalogues, and monographs. Her writing has appeared in publications including The New York Review of Books, The Brooklyn Rail, and Art in America. Janelle Lynch (b. 1969) is an American artist, educator and writer, who uses a large-format camera and alternative processes in the discovery of ecological, spiritual, and human connection. Her photographs and cyanotypes have been exhibited widely and are included in numerous public and private collections. She has three monographs published by Radius Books, and was shortlisted for the Prix Pictet in 2019. Lynch is faculty at the International Center of Photography. She is represented by Flowers Gallery and lives and works in New York City and Amagansett, New York.Thanks for subscribing!
