Songs of Hope is Lyuba Cherninkova's first collection of poems inspired by musings on experiences, impressions and events which are inextricably intertwined with her Christian faith and address themes such as the hopes, fears and doubts of the soul and its invaluable worth.
Lyuba Cherninkova was born in Sliven, Bulgaria in 1985. She obtained a Master's degree in Translation from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and a Cambridge English Diploma in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She is the author of an article titled The Pilgrim's Progress from this World to that which is to come: Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress in Bulgaria from 1866 to 2007 and the translator of The Life and Death of Mr. Badman by John Bunyan into Bulgarian. She currently resides in Nottingham, United Kingdom where she works as a teacher of English for Academic Purposes.
