Sonja, Diego & Karma: The Beacon on the Hill (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798176549713)

A mysterious key. A forgotten lighthouse. And a beacon that should not be shining.

Only one night has passed since Sonja, Diego, and Karma returned from their first adventure, and Karma is already hoping life will remain quiet.

Then Sonja digs up an old brass key marked with the image of a lighthouse.

By sunset, a golden light begins flashing from the abandoned tower high above the island.

Once.

Twice.

Then darkness.

Certain that the key and the mysterious beacon are connected, fearless Sonja sets off for the mountain. Eager Diego follows without hesitation, while cautious Karma reluctantly trails behind, because somebody has to make sure they all return home.

Their journey leads them through an overgrown jungle road, beneath a fallen tree, and into a crumbling lighthouse filled with strange noises, broken stairs, and a shadow moving somewhere above them.

To uncover the truth, the three friends will need Sonja's courage, Diego's determination, and Karma's careful thinking. But the secret waiting inside the lantern room may not be frightening at all. It may simply need their help.

Filled with tropical scenery, gentle suspense, playful humor, and a warm message about courage, compassion, and teamwork, The Beacon on the Hill is the second adventure in the Sonja, Diego & Karma series.
