Y. Yi Pang lives in southern Germany in a region known as Neckartal-Odenwald, near Heidelberg. She studied Mathematics and Philosophy of Education in the US and Canada. Poetry has been a part of her life for as long as she can remember. From her first encounters with the Tang Dynasty poet, Li Bai, through Robert Louis Stevenson to so many others too numerous to mention, poetry has been a constant companion (though often in the background). In 2013, mysteriously inspired, Yi Pang began writing poetry in earnest. Her first book of poetry, 'Tales of Life in Light and Shadow, ' was published in June of that year. After many delays, technical and otherwise, her second book, 'Sparks, Embers & Ashes, ' is now ready for release.
