Anthony served in the United States Army for over 23 years. He flew over 1,800 flight hours as pilot-in-command in the most prestigious helicopter, known as the Apache AH64D. He saved many lives by providing aerial reconnaissance and protection for American soldiers during his tours in Iraq. He provided aerial security for convoys from Improvised Explosive Devices. Mr. Fisher earned several awards including two Air medals, a Meritorious Service Medal, a Joint Commendation Medal and Global War on Terrorism Medal. He later retired and was featured on Channel 4 as Jacksonville, FL's Military Hero. After retirement, Anthony pursued a second career. Today, Anthony is a Registered Nurse and has his Masters in Nurse Education. He currently works at Jacksonville University where he teaches and mentors students to be self-assured, competent, and professional nurses.
