Starting Over Stronger: Finding a Pathway Out of Codependency to Create a New Life of Peace (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798847249874)

This is the transformational story of a woman who grew up in an average dysfunctional home and married into the like. After a cult-like church experience, she ended up in counseling where she awakened to the abuse and neglect she had experienced as a child. This upbringing created a chronic codependency that led her to continually attract toxic love-at church and at home.
Inspired by a verse she had heard a thousand times, she created a new way to journal. Through her new journaling method, she not only changed her life in every imaginable way, but she shared her Pathway to Peace(TM) with friends who had equally impactful experiences.
In this memoir, you will read her story of being raised in, marrying, and going to church with toxic dysfunction, often referred to as covert psychological or spiritual abuse. You will also discover how codependency keeps people trapped in these cycles of victim mentality and abuse. Experience her exodus from these painful relationships that were all she had ever known, and better yet, discover for yourself how to journal to write a new story all your own!
