Along the way we have marveled at ancient wonders and wondered at modern marvels, have been amazed and amused as we experienced a constantly changing mix of fun and frustration, comfort and calamity, humour and hassle, plenty and poverty... a veritable smorgasbord of what is wonderful (mostly) and woeful (sometimes) about the world. In all that time, we have never wanted to cease from our travels in order to settle down as responsible sensible 'senior citizens'. We love the roaming retirement life that we have made for ourselves, and haven't regretted a moment of it.
