Still Standing: Lessons in Personal Courage (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781974176113)

Renee Crews is the CEO/Founder of Metamorphosis Communications Training. She is a native of the Chicago South Suburbs. While her experience brings her around the world, she loves her hometown. She is a vocal leader at her church, an officer in her chamber of commerce, a wife and mother. As a communications specialist, Crews knows that in order to successfully communicate with others, we must first know how to communicate with ourselves. We need to get out of our own way. In addition to facilitating soft skills training, Crews is also a motivational speaker. Through her vulnerability, she proves that when life gets us down, we need to stand up and dust ourselves off. She often says that, "The dark side of motivation is experience." Many people want to inspire others, but they are not willing to weather the trenches. Renee is the first one to say that she doesn't have life "figured out," but she invites readers to join her on a journey to find higher ground.
