I enjoy the endless search for the perfect choice of words to express myself. My phonetic wordplay borders on the subconscious. Born in Ohio, I moved to North Carolina in the eighth grade, and soon thereafter became better known for my mathematical inclination. I majored in math at UNC-Chapel Hill, and after several years of work, I completed my Master's degree in Applied Statistics at UNC-Charlotte. Since then, I spent the majority of my years teaching, most recently at Central Piedmont Community College. I joined Mensa in 2000, and enjoy intelligent conversation. I am single, never married, and have not given up on the idea of marriage or siring offspring. My background is Lutheran, but I have a mind of my own, which ultimately belongs to Christ. I do have other poetry, which could be worth sharing from an artistic point of view, but one should never underestimate the impact, light or dark, and being a morally responsible writer, I choose to magnify the Lord, not darkness.
