Stolen Crayons: How California Stole $1 Billion in Arts Funding Meant for Our Kids - and the Tuscarora Mother Who Declared War (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798277925997)

The Stolen Crayons Manifesto: A Mother's Urgent Demand to Reclaim California's Arts Education Funding

On November 30, 2025, a Tuscarora mother and credentialed arts teacher launched a legal war. Her Urgent Demand Letter exposes a critical scandal: California schools are quietly diverting nearly a billion dollars annually in Prop 28 arts money-funneling it away from actual art teachers and into administrative loopholes.

This document is the unfiltered battle plan. It is a living manifesto.

Inside these pages, you will discover the weapons needed to fight back:

• The Loophole Exposed: Exactly how districts exploit "small LEA" exemptions and fake job titles to dodge the mandatory 80% hiring requirement for Prop 28 funds.
• The UCP Funnel: The step-by-step Unified Complaint Procedure (UCP) weapon that empowers any parent or teacher to trigger a state investigation in minutes.
• The Dual-Track Strategy: The $80,000 legal settlement blueprint that transforms individual lawsuits into permanently funded arts programs.
• Crayons & Capital: The complete curriculum and Closed-Circuit Model designed to keep Prop 28 dollars circulating in local artists' and communities' pockets.
• The Verdant Haven Vision: A blueprint for a future built on gardens, restorative justice, and community wealth, ensuring our children are never robbed of their inherent prosperity and creativity again.

Part whistleblower exposé, part legal war manual, this is a matriarchal battle cry from a direct descendant of pioneer Indigenous women who refused to be broken.

If you are a parent tired of bake-sales funding essential art supplies...

If you are a teacher watching creativity budgeted out of existence...

If you believe our children deserve both prosperity and crayons...

...then this book hands you the match and shows you exactly where they hid the gasoline.

The roughness is intentional. This fight is happening right now.

Join it.
