Stop Scrolling. Start Creating.: How Women Use Their Voice And AI Tools To Create Content And Build A Legacy (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798999511348)

I did not stop scrolling because I became more disciplined.

I stopped because I noticed that every time I talked instead of consumed, I felt calmer afterward. That is the whole book right there. Everything else is just the how.

I am Ashley Danielle Barbin-founder of Vivas Collective, full-time stay-at-home mom of two, and a woman who spent sixteen years managing federal programs and government contracts before stepping away to raise her kids. A therapist once told me I should write my story. I told her I could not write-I am dyslexic. She said write it anyway. So I figured out how.

This book is what I figured out.

Stop Scrolling. Start Creating.(TM) is a self-help memoir hybrid for the woman who has something to say and no idea how to say it. The woman who had a plan-a real one, maybe even a five-year goal sheet-and then life happened. Chronic illness. A baby. A layoff. An economy that stopped cooperating. And suddenly the version of herself she had been working toward felt very far away.

Maybe that is you. Maybe you are reading this at midnight. Maybe you are in the car line at school with three minutes to yourself and a phone full of voice memos you have never replayed. Maybe you have been saying "I should write that down" for two years and nothing has happened yet.

You are not behind. You are not broken. You are just holding too much without somewhere to put it. This book builds that somewhere.

It starts with your voice-literally. You talk. A free AI tool captures it. AI helps you organize, refine, and surface what was already inside you. Not to invent your ideas. To reflect them back in a form you can actually use. No tech background required. No perfect sentences needed. No waiting until the timing is right-and if you are waiting for that, I need you to hear me: it is not coming. This book was written in fragments, in nap windows, in parked cars, in the dark while I was already holding my phone anyway.

You will also meet the Dream Team-an AI-powered, somatic-informed, market-aware advisory framework built into the book itself. Imagine having a Story Architect helping you see what your material could become, a Market Strategist asking who needs to hear it, and a Somatic Therapist checking whether your nervous system is actually ready to build-all in the same conversation. It sounds like a lot. It is actually just finally having the right questions asked.

This is not a book about hustle. It is not about posting more, performing more, or pretending you have it all figured out. It is about redirection. Creation as regulation. Authorship instead of intake. Because what you build from your own story-from your own lived experience, your own voice, your own life-cannot be laid off, restructured away, or quietly replaced while you were gone.

I wrote this book in a season of postpartum fog, chronic illness, and more transitions than I could count. I wrote it because I believe women carry more wisdom than they have ever been given tools to document. And I wrote it because God kept prompting me to-so I finally stopped arguing.

With a foreword by Dr. Liz Vaughan Moyer, Doctor of Strategic Leadership and founder of Buffalo and Banyan.

If you are ready to stop watching other women build things and start building something that belongs entirely to you-this is your book.

Stop Scrolling. Start Creating.(TM) You were always the author.
