Jianqiao Ye is professor of mechanical engineering at Lancaster University, UK, and a fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He is former reader in structural and materials modeling at the School of Civil Engineering in the University of Leeds and he has worked as a university lecturer for about thirty years.
