Over time, the residents became locked in a feudal system of Uppers, Mid-Tiers, and Bottom Dwellers. The Mid-Tier population accepted what they were told. The Bottom Dwellers did not. They longed to break the grip the Uppers had on the entire city, and to open the dome once and for all. Now, two hundred years on, a ragtag group of Synthetics, robots, and humans have formed a plan to do just that.
