Yang-Rui Li, PhD, is a lifetime Professor and has been serving as Director of the Sugarcane Research Center, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, since 2007. He is Chief Expert of the National Joint Research Program for Elite Sugarcane Variety Development in China. He has published more than 15 books and over 1000 papers. He has received more than 33 awards for his work.
