Their story describes the historical pony penning week held in Chincoteague, VA, which is now in its 91st year. According to historical records, pony penning has been held along the East Coast since Colonial times. The Chincoteague event is the last of its kind, and thousands of people come to watch the event which is always held the last week of July.
