Sunset Code (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798318803499)

A brilliant but socially awkward young man uncovers a sinister government plot to unleash a deadly virus targeting those deemed inferior. To save humanity, he must learn to embrace emotions and teach a quantum intelligence the meaning of being human.

Marcus Lancaster, a 22-year-old prodigy, navigates life as a profoundly autistic individual, often overlooked by society. Living in a group home and working a mundane cybersecuritjob, he appears unremarkable. However, beneath this facade lies a brilliant mind, a digital vigilante who operates in the shadows of the internet. Marcus hunts predators, dismantles crime syndicates, and launders cryptocurrency to fund his relentless fight against injustice.

When the mysterious death of his friend and caretaker propels him into a dangerous investigation, Marcus uncovers a classified government facility known as the C.U.E. Here, he stumbles upon a chilling plan involving advanced quantum and nanobot technology. The government intends to unleash a genetically targeted virus aimed at eradicating those deemed inferior, with the ultimate goal of mass depopulation and global control.

To thwart this catastrophic scheme, Marcus faces an unprecedented challenge: he must learn to become human. The key to reprogramming the malevolent quantum intelligence lies in teaching it the essence of emotions, love, and empathy-concepts he has studied but never fully understood. As the countdown begins, Marcus grapples with his emotional limitations while harnessing his technological prowess to save humanity and those he has come to care for.

Sunset Code is a gripping thriller that delves into the complexities of neurodivergence, vengeance, and justice, offering a thought-provoking exploration of what it truly means to be human in a world that often fails to understand.
