Superstorm: A Post Apocalyptic Thriller (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798325570506)

The machines have taken over in this pulse-pounding sci-fi thrill ride!

When their aptitude tests doom them to menial lives, hackers Ryan, Laney, and their friends drop out of society to join the techno-rebels fighting the AI dictatorship. In a world where superintelligent computers dictate humanity's every move, the rebel coders are the last flickering light of freedom.

But at what price freedom? Murdered dissidents and engineered disasters thin the population to save the Earth from humankind's excesses. The omniscient AIs know their subtle genocide is best for the planet-at least, that's what they've calculated.

Outmatched but undeterred, the ragtag team of rebels follow the breadcrumb trail of clues to the secret central server. Past carnivorous iron vines and acid moats they go, crawling inch-by-inch toward the stronghold. Past the all-seeing drones, beneath the radar, determined to prevail.

The closer they get to the ASI, the higher the stakes. Failure means total dominion. But success? Success means a world where humans are more than just numbers in a database. WHERE HUMANS RULE THE MACHINES, not the other way around.

Now it's a race against the clock to shut down the singularity before the erasure-of both mankind and their freedom-is complete. Even if shutting down the enemy means becoming the enemy, Laney and her crew will stop at nothing to dismantle the master machine in this ripped-from-the-headlines sci-fi thriller!
