This book is a true story, through my eyes and about my life. It is very dumbed down and edited to remain only my story, and not inadvertently tell anyone else's story. I do not believe that my story should be silenced any more just because it may tarnish someone else's made up version of themselves, or me. The facts are this, I was adopted and I was abused within that adoption. The people who were supposed to protect me either failed to do so or were involved. Some of these people didn't know better, and some did. Some people were busy fulfilling the parts of their lives that were meant to enrich, support and make my life and my siblings lives better. Those funds may have gone towards creating a safe and loving home, as time went on those same funds were used to isolate, harm, degrade and send me away. I was not perfect, happy or even necessarily a "good" child, but I was a child with trauma in need of stability, patience and bonding. Instead I was given disruption, additional trauma, abusive therapies, rage style attachment parenting and a disgusting amount of physical, psychological and emotional abuse.

This is a true and cautionary tale to all parents who have used "rage theory" attachment therapies or other controversial attachment therapies and parenting styles: If you want to be told better, act better.
