The journey between being in love and falling out of love while being tangled in pain and confusion. The whirlwind within the limbo of moving on. The constant questioning and not being able to understand why love never chose me but also why I never chose myself. Here, a collection of my everyday pieces and spoken-words I've written over time. Some, I have preformed and some - that were tucked in my purse that came running through my head with a rush of emotion. All that have helped me express myself over time. Take your time but enjoy them, feel them.

Donna M. Davis, known as "Lomiiy" through her social media platforms, is a 23-year old spoken-word poet and self-publishing author. Based in Charlotte, NC but raised in Delaware; she always remembers where she came from and what made her who she is today. She captures the rawness, purity and the beauty of words and expression. She's here for the girls that are misunderstood, the girls with the attitudes and soft hearts. The girls with the strong opinions and sternness. Slang is her best friend, and cursing is her art form. She brings her urban style to the poetry world. Unapologetic and loud but also caring and filled with compassion. Donna plans to break through with her love of poetry and share her journey with the world with her debut title "Surviving Limbo".
