Suspended (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781489575531)

When friends insisted, "You ought to write a book," Koko Nervelli decided to accept the challenge. SUSPENDED was very therapeutic for her (and for her readers), but it only scratched the surface of Koko's adventures. She found writing to be a hidden passion. SUSPENDED became the first in her At Home Series, followed by THE LIE and TRUTH BEYOND THE LIE. The sequels uncover a deep, dark family secret and show how Koko came to grips with her discovery. Her most popular book, BEANS AND GREENS, taps into her southern heritage. The collection of fictional short stories about down-home foods and traditions will make your mouth water and your heart sing. You will learn unique things about the Deep South, or recall precious memories. Koko's latest series, Metaphysical Murder Mysteries, begins with THREE SQUARED. Psychic, Madame Melancholy Marie, is displaced by Hurricane Katrina and moves to the fictional coastal town of Starnes Beach, NC. Her career takes a strange turn when she gets involved in a murder investigation. MYSTIC BIRTH, the second in the series, picks up several years later as Mel awaits the birth of her first child. Of course, the Dark Side, is there to wreak havoc along the way. GUILT OF THE UNDEAD introduces Darcy Jenkins to the familiar group of mystic characters. They work together to release Darcy from the guilt she holds from a drunk driving accident that killed her boyfriend on prom night. Mel and her friends lead Darcy on the path to redemption, with a paranormal twist, and teach her that everyone makes mistakes, everyone deserves forgiveness, and everyone should know happiness.
