It has been established through ample academic systematic research documentation that out-of-school suspensions (OSS) can increase student dropout rates, leading to juvenile delinquency, social nonconformity, and underachievement in adulthood if not addressed appropriately. In this review, we evaluate a program spanning three decades within the organization IN-AGAPĒ Family Life and Educational Center (IFLEC) that supports academically at-risk youth. The aim of this review is to draw attention to this prevalent issue and find a suitable system to address it.
