Philosopher/Theologian Edward F. Sylvia attended the School of Visual Arts in New York. After a long career as a copywriter for some of the world's largest advertising agencies in New York, St. Louis and Chicago, he now "advertises for God," and has shared many insights in his blog as TheGodGuy. He received his M.T.S. (Master of Theological Studies) at the Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, CA and a Certificate of Swedenborgian Studies from the Swedenborgian House of Studies at PSR. He is a past president of the St. Louis Publishers Association, and a member of the International Book Publishers Association (IBPA), the Center for Theology and the Natural Sciences (CTNS), the Swedenborg Scientific Association (SSA), the Missouri Botanical Garden and Forest Park Forever.
