Claine Keily is a poet who has written a many works in a variety of forms. The styles of her work cover the forms of poetic prose, literary gothic fiction and confessional poetry. She is influenced by the Gothic Romantic writers, the Surrealists and Post Structuralist writers such as Helene Cixous and Luce Irigaray. She has several degrees from the University of Sydney. Her Masters Degree focused on the works of Helene Cixous and Luce Irigaray, and posited an argument for the necessity of complexity in writing. Extracts of her longer works have been published by a range of publishers. Her primary publisher is Dust Jacket Press in Colorado. This press produces an online publication called 'Standards'. A number of extracts from her novel and novellas have been published by this press. More recently she has had poems published in Sotto, The Wonder Book of Poetry, Notes for the Translators, When the Moon is Swimming Naked, Solstice Initiative and Cuttings. Claine Keily has recently published books that are available on Amazon. These titles are Other Roads by Claine Keily and Zeb Olsen, The Practice of Beauty, and The Impossible Equivalence of Vanished Objects.
