Swing State (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9780997064261)

Wait, what kind of party is this?!

Jacqui has put up with Rick's increasingly erratic shenanigans for years. While her star rose in Hollywood, he grew more and more sulky, even moving them to West Palm Beach, Florida, for a fresh start.

Beneath the glaring sun and dazzling jewels of West Palm, Rick's insults grow sharper. His temper more mercurial. His resort to a push or shove quicker.

Jacqui's ever-present smile and outrageously loud laugh cover it all.

Until, that is, Rick sets her up for the surprise of a swingers party with the neighbors. That may be the decision that finally moves Jacqui not only into freedom, but safe, supportive, real love.

All she has to do is stay alive long enough to choose it.

Swing State is inspired by Laurien's true life experience.
