Swiss Sub Ahoy!: Action-packed spy thriller for adults (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798287744793)

"SWISS SUB AHOY!" is a wildly inventive, action-packed, and darkly comedic spy thriller that revels in its own absurdity. Imagine a landlocked country with no coastline - Switzerland - building a secret submarine fleet. Yes, submarines. This audacious premise sets the stage for a globe-trotting adventure that zigzags from the pristine Swiss Alps and bustling cities to the sun-soaked beaches of Mauritius, the depths of the Indian Ocean, and the tense waters of the South China Sea. Along the way, the story plunges into military bases in Germany and China, war-torn regions like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Tajikistan, a drug cartel's domain in Colombia and the shadowy corridors of power in Moscow and Washington. It's a whirlwind of luxurious hotels, glittering casinos, and gourmet restaurants, juxtaposed with gritty battlefields, underground hideouts, and high-stakes underwater escapades.

At the center of the chaos are Skinni and FeeFee, an ordinary American couple on a budget Swiss vacation. Their accidental discovery in watchmaking triggers a frantic race between the superpowers to uncover Switzerland's incredible naval ambitions. Unaware of the deadly intrigue swirling around them, Skinni and FeeFee float carefree and end up with an unexpected reward.

Enter Herr Weiss, the story's most magnetic and ruthless figure. Handsome, brilliant, and utterly unscrupulous, he betrays and eliminates anyone in his path, achieving his goals at a devastating personal cost. Then there are Apache and Borzoi, American and Russian soldiers who embody the cold, unyielding machinery of the state, willing to sacrifice everything - and everyone - for their mission. The Mafia also wants to get its piece of cake.

Yet, in this high-stakes game of espionage and power, the underdog can still triumph. "SWISS SUB AHOY!" is a testament to the resilience of the small against the colossal forces of states and mafias, proving that even the most unlikely heroes can claim victory - and sometimes, the lion's share of the spoils.

Written with a sharp, engaging style, the novel blends firsthand knowledge of military intelligence with vivid, fast-paced storytelling. Rich cultural details bring Swiss traditions to life, while the breakneck plot keeps readers hooked from start to finish. Perfect for both reluctant readers and avid book lovers, "SWISS SUB AHOY!" is a thrilling, absurd, and utterly unforgettable ride that proves even the most improbable ideas can make for an extraordinary story. Dive in - you won't regret it.
