Kathy Stoughton has spent over ten thousand hours working one on one with students to help them build the right learning skills. Many of her students have lowered their college costs by hundreds of thousands of dollars all while improving the quality of their educations. Although she completely redid her education via the new alternatives in order to tutor properly, she also has a BA from Dartmouth College, and a Master's in Education from SNHU. Recently, she acquired a Certificate in Educational Technology from MITx. Kathy has also completed over 18 of the new model courses including those from Harvard (neuroscience), MIT (chemistry, biology, and technology), Duke (biology and chemistry), UC Berkeley (statistics), The Ohio State (calculus), Georgetown (biology) and others. Prior to moving into education, she spent over 20 years in the corporate world including roles both on the front line and in management. Although Kathy still spends over 200 days a year working directly with students and parents, she now writes books that let parents and others accomplish the same as affordably as possible.
