Talet`Ka: Book I Of The Fynthralla's Prophet Arc (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781440442902)

When Roland Letrise wakes up at the bottom of a staircase, his dislocated shoulder and broken ribs are the least of his concerns. The Supreme Abbot has been possessed and now he is horrified to find that he is in the company of his enemy - as an infiltrator. Leveraging the Jubilee to maintain his agony, Roland hides from the monster that reads his thoughts, while his nephew Sebastien unlocks secrets that can defeat the resurrected necromancer. With a jeweler, a barmaid and a rabble-rousing gnome, Sebastien travels with a crippled wizard who revives his faith in the oracles, despite the magician's adamant disbelief in the creator. Amid the corruption of a state-religion, a psychic race on the brink of extinction and a world racing towards war, this story of Kul-Dim's final days explores regret, isolation and how one man's change of heart propels a faithless wizard, desperate for redemption, into the midst of a prophecy that will reconcile an entire creation.
