She has worked in the criminal justice system, and in juvenile and adult addictions. Her work as a counselor in a Newborn Intensive Care Center and on the crisis team required expertise and training in handling critical situations. She has also taught at the university level for twenty-two years. She has advanced training in attachment and the importance of a healthy prenatal environment. Ms. Booth worked as a drug and gang specialist in a local school district where she presented at a conference on violence intervention. Working with the individual who is at-risk because of personal life experiences and lack of healthy emotional connection, awareness, and adaptation has been a topic Ms. Booth has been concerned with for over forty years. She is a strong advocate for children and families and promotes the ability of each person to be a messenger of peace. Her first priority has always been family and strengthening relationships therein.
