AE Kirk was born and raised in Devon, England. Having a taste for history, she attended Lampeter University in Wales and studied a BA in Single Archaeology then went on to an MA for Social Archaeology. Once she finished she and her partner went to teach English in South Korea in 2011. During which she published her first book Loving in Time with Vanguard Press.
