Telling God What We're Thinking: A Devotional for Honest Prayer (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798903084500)

Most of us don't struggle with prayer because we lack discipline. We struggle because we're afraid to say what we're really thinking.

Somewhere along the way, prayer becomes performance--and honesty begins to feel risky.

In Telling God What We're Thinking, Gordon McCauley offers a different way. With warmth and clarity, he invites readers to stop editing themselves before God and to discover a surprising freedom: God is not threatened by our doubts, our questions, or our unspoken thoughts. He meets us in them.

If you're weary of formulas, tired of pretending, or longing for a faith that feels like home, this book will help you rediscover the quiet courage of speaking plainly to the God who listens.
