Templar: Darkness (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798599497509)

The World is set to change as two people test the world from darkness...Rachel has fears tied to her very nature. The power of discord had affected her in a negative way before and she is afraid that it could affect her, and she could lose control. Since she is not truly human, there are few people she can trust to help her. She turns to Chad, the one person who understands her more than most with her problems to make sure she is okay. Her older siblings, Alpha and Beta, follow her back to the Walden to make sure she is okay. Things appear to be okay at the Walden until a familiar ghost shows up to let them know another storm is brewing.Hyde Darkness is a hacker bent on knowing the truth about the launch of the colony ships back in 2050. He is convinced that the technology used to make those ships is not up snuff. He investigates one of the companies that contributed to the tech that makes up those ships, ELL CORP, and their CEO Chad Hadwick. As he breaks into their system, he finds out even more than he bargained for. Chad knows what lies beyond the confines of our solar system. Also, being a Templar that fought along Lone Wolfe back in 2030, he also has a thirst to make new things. He created Rachel and built ELL CORP from the ground up. The company is now a leading manufacturer in many technologies, but Rachel, her siblings, and two more like them are the scions that will tell him if humanity is ready for what could lie in store in the future if the colony ships could run into anything in deep space. These forces will collide, Angela will have to make the hardest choices in her life to solve the crises that will result. Hyde will lose sight of his original mission and take on a vendetta against Chad and ELL CORP with fatal results. Magic will go haywire and friends will be lost. Will the normal world be spared from the storm this time?
