The Beltway Snipers murders took place throughout Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. A fifty mile by fifty mile chunk of ground was terrorized by the random selection process being used by the shooter. The residents of the area were afraid to fuel up their cars, cut the grass, go to the store, even wait for a bus. Ultimately Mark and three others, who later became know as the "Four Musketeers" identify the details of the plan and discover the similarities to the Beltway Sniper episode that had taken place twenty two years prior.
