The 7 Principles for Strong Somalia (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781727811315)

The 7 Principles for Strong Somalia was written for those young, educated Somalis who aspire to power through a democratic process, and through sympathy for liberty, freedom, and equality for all before the law. There are 7 principles in this book. These principles aren't based on hunger for power and don't lead to dictatorship, but to good governance. In combination, but no particular order, these principles help you in building a competitive nation which commands respect and trust at home and abroad. Here is a snapshot of these principles: -Principle 1: Self-determination and independence are key for a successful Somalia.Principle 2: Drop the victim mindset and embrace win-win with the wider world.Principle 3: The pathway to social democracy in Somalia is civic involvement.Principle 4: Only measurable results keep ineffectiveness at a respectable distance.Principle 5: Three golden rules for Somalia's foreign diplomacy success.Principle 6: Tribalism divides our hearts, nationalism unites our morals.Principle 7: Ethical leadership isn't a choice, it's the right thing to do
