The 9th Divinity (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798230684992)

A vigilante group calling themselves the 9th Divinity, declares to the world that they will stop Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, dismantle Russia's nuclear arsenal and do the same with North Korea's Kim Jong Un. What is their secret weapon? That is the mystery, and Keeno McCole and his Anti-Terrorism-Unit, a special unit of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, are called into play when it is discovered that the 9th Divinity is operating from within Canada. The investigation takes Keeno and his crime-fighting partner, Jake Williams, along with the rest of the team, on a chase that leads them into the heart of the war zone in Ukraine, where Keeno witnesses the devastation and death-toll caused by Putin and his kill-squads. The 9th Divinity reveals to Keeno just how, using advanced drone technology and artificial intelligence - they intend to accomplish their claims to bring about peace. Keeno is faced with a new challenge; is the 9th Divinity the real enemy he should be chasing down and stopping? And if they can stop the madman, Putin, why is he trying to stop them? Principles vs loyalty - honor vs duty - a new war erupts inside him? These are the questions that plague him as he faces the carnage in Ukraine and the decision he makes will send him on a mission of epic proportions.

- Mr. D.J. Luddington

In his latest crime thriller, Real takes the reader across continents fighting the big players in nuclear warfare. Readers get a picture of the devastations in Ukraine that shook the world as well as a glimpse into a nuclear disaster that very well could happen. The sociological insights into the minds of sociopathic leaders and how it leads to mass compliance in their citizens is impressively weaved into the story. With compelling storytelling skills, Real makes us question our shared responsibility in the disasters of the millennium.

Opening The 9th Divinity is thought-changing and mindset-shifting. It takes you to a different level though. It is emotionally rich, raw and so real as the characters dive deeper into the sad state of our world. As I read, and I do love a thrilling, suspenseful novel, I keep finding moments and details I can understand, as we are living it today... Hopefully we can learn from some of the paths this book travels and that war is not the answer.
